Edge Restoration & Management (WERM) strives to initiate
environmentally sound solutions to the problems that threaten our
ponds, lakes and rivers. We use modern technology, and methods
scientifically proven to be effective, while consistently searching for
new systems and techniques to aid in the restoration of the aquatic
environment. Our team specializes in the removal of invasive weed
species through diver assisted suction harvesting, an alternative to
the use of chemicals. Another method used in the control of weed growth
is the use of benthic barriers, commonly referred to as weed mats. We
are a distributor and installer of Aqua-screen, a benthic barrier which
can be used in sections to prevent weed growth. Water's Edge also
specializes in diver assisted suction dredging, the removal of
sediment, mud, and organic buildup through suction and filtration.
