Matt Vogt, Vice President Sales & Client Services, is our college educated Director of Operations. He heads our company and brings with him many years of the love of the water as a life-long resident living both on and adjacent to water. Matt's father, the former President of land trust in western Connecticut, instilled in him from an early age a sincere appreciation of the environment. This peeked his interest in seeking scientifically and minimally invasive solutions to the many problems that began developing in our lakes and ponds. Matt became an early proponent of suction harvesting rather than utilizing short-term chemical solutions. He was one of WERM's first employees, beginning as a diver that then quickly was promoted to Crew Leader at the beginning of our first season. After spending a full year in Afghanistan as a member of the Connecticut National Guard, he has returned to WERM and was again promoted to Vice President, Sales & Client Services managing the company.
Sebastian Czuszel is Vice President Marketing overseeing all marketing, advertising, promotional and public relations activities for WERM. Additionally, he is responsible for eco-imagination environmental initiatives and the company’s expansion into secondary uses of the invasive plants harvested. He began his career with Karalekas & Company Marketing & Management Consultants as a senior marketing officer having moved up from executive assistant to the President before joining WERM LLC. He is a graduate of Hofstra University with a B.A. in International Business and a MBA in Marketing.
